Syria
"So His fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, those having seizures, and paralytics, and He healed them" (Matthew 4:24).
Lord, may Your name be made famous again throughout all Syria as You begin to heal that land again. Draw many to Yourself that will praise You with their whole hearts and go out boldly sharing what You have done.
Iraq
"By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance" (Hebrews 11:8).
Lord, call many Iraqis into obedience in the same way You called Abraham out of Iraq; to the inheritance Your Son has provided to us through His sacrifice. May these Iraqis be willing to go wherever You call them to share Your truth, knowing that Jesus is worth it.
