Afrin is located in the Kurdish region of Syria. It was seized by Syrian and Turkish militias in 2018. Many women were kidnapped after it was captured in 2018.

Lord, the people of Afrin are brokenhearted and crushed. Pour out your mercy and grace on them. Heal their hearts and minds and show them who You are. Open their eyes to see that Jesus understands their suffering. Let them know that He came and suffered and died for them. Draw them to You, O Lord.
